ISRI’s Reasonable Care Compliance Program: An Intro to SREA & Its Connection to the Industry’s Biggest Challenges

Wednesday, January 25, 2023 | 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET

This webinar is open to ISRI members only at no charge.
Description

Presented by ISRI’s SREA program leadership, in collaboration with the Women in Recycling and Young Executive Councils, this webinar serves as an introduction to the SREA Reasonable Care Compliance Program, which assists recyclers with the defense of a Superfund Liability claim. Program participation gives you a competitive advantage over other processors and brokers and saves both time and money!

This session will provide an overview of the program, SREA Law, and the intersection of SREA and relevant topics such as environmental justice and VOC emissions. The SREA subcommittee is looking to increase engagement and build its volunteer leadership pipeline. If you’re interested in learning more, join us.

Attendees will:
  • Learn about ISRI’s SREA program and its member benefits.
  • Learn about an important exemption from superfund liability available to recyclers who meet certain requirements.
  • Learn about the intersections of SREA with relevant environmental topics affecting members today.
  • Hear about leadership opportunities within ISRI’s SREA Subcommittee.
Who Should Attend

You will benefit if you work for a processor or broker; and/or hold a position that could identify you as a “potentially responsible party” (see PRP definition); have an interest in volunteering or learning about this important program member benefit.
