With 40 years of experience in the environmental industry, Susan Robinson’s background includes environmental policy, sustainability reporting and goal setting, and a range of waste & recycling topics. Her experience includes work in the public sector, nonprofit environmental work, consultancy, and over 30 years in the private sector. Most recently, she led corporate sustainability strategy and reporting for WM. Robinson currently supports recycling and sustainability programs through her consulting work with trade organizations and private sector clients.
She attended Stanford University and holds a B.S. in Applied Earth Sciences from the University of Washington. Her master’s work in Environmental Studies was at The Evergreen State College. She holds a Sustainability Leadership Certificate from Stanford University.
Megan Levy, Manager of Business Resilience at Texas Mutual Insurance Company, brings over a decade of diverse experience in resilience planning. Her expertise spans public and private sectors, encompassing roles in emergency management, business continuity, and community resilience.
Megan holds a Master's in Infrastructure Planning and Management from the University of Washington, along with CBCP and CRMP certifications. Her professional journey includes impactful contributions to University of Washington Emergency Management, Microsoft, and the PNWER Center for Regional Disaster Resilience. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Megan now applies her comprehensive resilience knowledge in Austin, Texas, where she resides with her family.
