Dan started his career in 2000 as an Actuarial Analyst at a large carrier-owned reinsurance MGA where he learned actuarial pricing and reserving techniques and was exposed to all functional departments of an insurance company. Since then, Dan has developed his career by taking on positions of increasing responsibility at Harleysville, Liberty Mutual Group and SeaBright Insurance Company. Dan joined the team in early 2012 and today acts as Senior Vice President of underwriting at Amwins Program Underwriters, responsible for coaching a team of over 90 insurance professionals. Dan oversees 11 programs with written premiums of more than $250M servicing 2,300+ customers. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and finance from Saint Anselm College and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Boston University. Dan also holds the following designations: CPCU, ARe, AIC, AFSB, Six Sigma Green Belt.

Susan has been a leader in the property and casualty insurance sector for more than 30 years. Her expertise lies in mid-market and large-risk commercial, excess and surplus, personal lines, claims and health insurance. Susan joined Amwins Program Underwriters in 2014 and serves as Assistant Vice President and manager of the RecycleGuard insurance program. As RecycleGuard manager, Susan oversees $59M in annual premiums and leads a team of ten dedicated underwriting staff serving more than 300 recycling operations nationwide. A subject matter expert in recycling insurance, Susan recently spoke to attendees at #ISRI2024 on the nuances of purchasing insurance for recycling operations and has mentored many individuals in the P&C insurance industry.
