Publication serves as essential recycling industry resource

(Washington, DC) -- The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), the Voice of the Recycling Industry™, released its annual Membership Directory and Industry Guide, a comprehensive listing of member contacts, business classifications, types of equipment used, and commodities handled. The much-anticipated publication is one of the key benefits of an ReMA membership and offers an important industry resource.

“The Membership Directory represents a who’s who of scrap recyclers, and is essential for anyone in the business,” said Robin Wiener, president of ISRI. “In addition to connecting our members, the directory serves as a guide to all things ISRI, providing a variety of useful tools for success in the scrap recycling industry.”

This year’s directory is a 364-page publication that contains completely updated information on all ReMA member companies and branch locations, presenting the data in three easy-to-use sections: Locations, Companies, and Individuals. Members in good standing will receive their directories, an ReMA member benefit, in the coming weeks. (Copies are available to non-ISRI members for $950.) The number of copies each member receives is based on their ReMA dues levels. A digital version of the 2014/2015 Membership Directory and Industry Guide is also available for members.

The Membership Directory and Industry Guide also offers advertising opportunities, a guide to ReMA services, information on ISRI’s Board of Directors and committees, councils and related organizations, a listing of ReMA staff, details on ISRI's arbitration program, ReMA chapter boundaries, and member companies in the association's two national chapters—the Paper Stock Industries Chapter and Scrap Tire Processors Chapter. The directory ends with a Buyers Guide that lists ReMA associate members that provide equipment, technology, products, and services to the recycling industry in more than 110 categories.

Non-ISRI members may order copies of the directory by visiting the online ReMA store.
