The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Names Holly Arthur as Senior Vice President

ISRI_Headshot_Arthur(Washington, DC) – The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) today announced the hiring of Holly Arthur as Senior Vice President. Arthur will oversee communications, marketing, publications, and other areas of the organization. Holly’s will also assist with the overall strategic planning of the trade association.

“As a member-driven organization, ReMA is committed to providing new opportunities and added value to its members and other stakeholders in the recycling industry,” said Robin Wiener, president of ISRI. “Holly’s experience, vision, and knowledge will help ReMA elevate our currently delivery of services, as well as adapt them for the future of a constantly evolving industry. Her wide-ranging experience will also help further position ReMA as the Voice of the Recycling Industry in front of external audiences. We are very excited to have someone with Holly’s talent on board.”

Arthur is an accomplished communications strategist and practitioner, with experience as a journalist, in government, public relations firms and both large and small trade associations representing highly regulated industries. Holly is coming to ReMA most recently from Portland Cement Association (PCA) where she was Vice President of Communications. In that position her areas of focus were media relations, social media, advertising, marketing, board and membership communications, reputation management, executive communications and advocacy communications.

Prior to PCA, Holly was a Principal at Milton Public Relations, AVP Public Affairs at the Association of American Railroads and Vice President at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. She brings 25 years of experience in the communications and association management arena. Holly received her Bachelor’s in English from Randolph-Macon College and her graduate degree in Business Administration from University of Limerick, Ireland.
