On Wednesday, June 26, ReMA member Linder Machinery (Concord, NC) hosted ReMA EHS’s Tony Smith and Commodor Hall as they presented a full day of safety education and training. The more than 30 attendees represented the recycling associations of North and South Carolina. The subjects discussed ranged from transportation and mobile equipment safety, to fire safety and inbound material inspections. The overall discussion was pointed towards hazard recognition in scrap recycling. The information was well received by those in attendance. To learn more about how you can host an ReMA Safety Outreach class contact Tony Smith, Director of Safety Outreach.
