ReMA Metal Theft Laws - Max Cash and Payment Requirements

There are numerous variations of payment restrictions among the 50 states regarding metals transactions. Not all states have payment restrictions, permitting the seller and buyer to determine their preferred method of payments as long as the appropriate records of the transaction are maintained. Other states place restrictions payment ranging from no cash for any metals to restrictions only covering certain materials or sellers.
