Metals Theft
Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) attempted to attach her metals theft bill again during mark up in the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee to a bipartisan manufacturing improvement bill that occurred during ISRI’s Board meetings in Las Vegas.
ISRI’s members once again contacted Senators to oppose this amendment as non-germane, and her amendment was not allowed to proceed. Senator Klobuchar has clearly indicated she intends to pass her bill through multiple legislative attempts this Congress.
