India is the U.S. recycling industry’s largest growth market in terms of net gains in export sales by value. U.S. scrap exports to India crossed the billion dollar mark for the first time in 2018 totaling more than 4.7 million metric tons valued at $1.5 million, a 63% increase over the previous year.
