For the week ending September 23, 2019, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reports the average U.S. on-highway diesel fuel price increased more than 9 cents per gallon from the prior week to $3.081.
The Midwest region saw the largest price increase (up 11 cents per gallon) while California retained the highest average diesel fuel price in the country at $3.976 per gallon.
