The U.S. Energy Information Administration reports the average U.S. on-highway diesel fuel price was little changed at $3.051 per gallon for the week ending October 14, although as compared to this time last year the average diesel price was down more than 34 cents per gallon.
Diesel fuel prices were reportedly unchanged in the Midwest last week, while prices on the West Coast (less California) saw the sharpest increase for the week, rising 2½ cents to $3.24 per gallon.
