Get ready for great food, fun and networking as ISRI’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter hosts its annual Oyster Roast and golf event on Thursday, Sept. 28. Several hundred recycled materials industry professionals are expected to gather for an afternoon of golf at Woodholme Country Club in Pikesville, MD, followed by an evening of networking at the happy hour and dinner buffet.
“The Oyster Roast is the flagship event of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and is the best opportunity of the year to mix and mingle with a wide variety of industry peers,” said David Krentzman, Mid-Atlantic chapter president. “We expect to have more than 200 attendees this year comprised of owners and managers, brokers and traders, equipment providers, and consumers. There is no better way to catch up and network with such a variety of industry members in our area. If golf isn’t your thing, just come for the happy hour and dinner!”
The ReMA Mid-Atlantic Chapter Oyster Roast has a long history at the same location, the Woodholme Country Club located in the Baltimore area, since at least the 1950s. The storied tradition of the Oyster Roast is part of the charm of the event. It has evolved over time, but the basic skeleton remains as a premiere golf outing on a great course, followed by an extended cocktail hour and a great meal, with lots of time to network with industry peers.
