November 8-11 at the Paper Stock Institute conference in Palm Desert,
California.
This year's fall gathering of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries' Paper Stock Institute (PSI) takes place out West—at the Desert Springs Marriott in Palm Desert, California, November 8-11. The group's 28th annual conference offers delegates the chance to gather and exchange up-to-the-minute information on the state of the paper stock industry via committee meetings, two general sessions, and social get-togethers. The focus of the conference is on current trends as well as problems and upcoming opportunities for paper stock industry members in the 1990s.
General session speakers include Ken Phillips, corporate purchasing manager for James River Corporation, Richmond, Virginia, and Tom Miller, a communication and human relations consultant who is discussing skills that can enhance business and personal relationships.•
