The Paper Stock Institute (PSI) of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries meets for its 27th annual conference at the Boca Raton Hotel and Beach Club, Boca Raton, Florida, November 9-13.

The addition of new programs to this year's event, and the expansion of established ones, is due to efforts of the PSI Convention Committee to respond to members' requests and suggestions. According to Co-chair Nini Krever, Traders International Corp., North Palm Beach, Florida, the conference will include committee meetings that address contemporary issues with emphasis on legislation and a general session to help fine-tune business skills. In addition, Krever says, there will be many opportunities for attendees to meet and exchange information.

Registration opens the afternoon of November 9, followed by a Committee Chairmen meeting and a Hospitality Committee meeting.

The morning of November 10 is set aside for these committee meetings: joint Industry Information/Technical Liaison, Membership, Traffic, Standards and Practices, Production, and Foreign Trade. (Note: Committee meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. this year.)

On November 11, the State and Local Liaison Committee meets, followed by a general session and a Convention Committee meeting.

An Executive Committee breakfast is scheduled for November 12, with the final general session afterwards. The day culminates with a dinner-dance and a mystery theater gala.

Through its annual conference, Krever says, the Paper Stock Institute continues its commitment to keep members up to date on the continually changing business environment.
