On Tuesday, July 16, Schupan announced the date of the ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Jim Paternoster (JP) Processing Center. The event will take place on Aug. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Schupan’s new facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

According to Schupan, the completion of the company’s JP Processing Center represents a significant step toward creating a more circular economy by producing sustainable aluminum products through post-consumer metal recycling. Schupan provides recyclable materials as valuable resources for global markets. With operations across multiple states and a growing global footprint, the company aims to make a positive impact on the communities it serves and uphold recycling transparency for low-carbon aluminum sourcing.
