Only two months away and ISRI’s The Roundtables are again shaping up to be this year’s can’t miss event. Gain the latest commodity market insights and network with traders, processors, consumers, and worldwide professionals in the recycled materials industry.

This two-and-a-half-day event, taking place Sept. 6 – 8, 2023, features massive networking opportunities in tandem with expert market analysis. The Roundtables provide valuable opportunities to network with domestic and international market participants and other stakeholders. There will be general networking opportunities to meet with people from across industries as well as ReMA specific events including the ReMA Young Executives Council Meet Up and ReMA Women in Recycling Meet Up

Why register today? Next week, an invite will be going out to all registered ReMA members for a special ReMA member only networking event. You won’t want to skip this. Only 200 members will be able to participate so, don’t miss out.

With the unpredictable economy, markets and banking situation, The Roundtables will host Thomas Walstrum, senior business economist in the economic research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, as the keynote speaker during the Economic Outlook General Session. Walstrum will help make sense of the current economic climate, especially with regards to commodities. His current responsibilities include the Seventh District’s contribution to the Beige Book, the Chicago Fed Survey of Economic Conditions, and briefings for the Chicago Fed president on Seventh District economic conditions. He also is a contributing author to the Bank’s Midwest Economy blog. Walstrum holds a B.A. in economics from Wheaton College, Illinois, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, with concentrations in labor and urban and regional economics.

If you deal in copper, ferrous, aluminum, paper, nickel, stainless, electronics, plastics, or any other recycled material, you must attend The Roundtables. Registration to The Roundtables is required to secure a hotel reservation at the discounted ReMA rate and includes participant materials, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, and entry to the Wednesday, Sept. 6 networking social at AceBounce.
