ReMA and Recycling Today Partner to Present 30 Under 30 Awards

(June 20, 2024 - Washington, D.C.) – The Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) today announced that it is partnering with the Recycling Today Media Group to establish a 30 Under 30 award to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of young professionals, laborers, technicians, and tradespeople to the recycled materials industry.

“It’s with great excitement that ReMA announces our partnership with Recycling Today Media Group to elevate the significant, daily accomplishments of our industry’s young leaders through this 30 Under 30 award,” said ReMA President Robin Wiener. “By celebrating our next generation, we affirm our ongoing commitment to highlighting the myriad of vibrant and viable career opportunities available in the Recycled Materials industry.”

Nominations will be reviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from the Recycling Today Media Group and ReMA Young Executives Council leadership, a body for young professionals to connect and engage in the recycling industry.

“We’re thrilled to partner with ReMA to honor the leadership and innovative accomplishments of our industry’s youth,” said Jim Keefe, publisher of the Recycling Today Media Group. “The 30 Under 30 awards will showcase these young professionals, laborers, technicians, and tradesmen who are driving positive change in the recycling and waste management industry. I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate these up-and-coming leaders.”

Nominators must be employed by a ReMA member company and are encouraged to submit nominations here. More information on the 30 Under 30 award nomination process can be found here. Nominations for the inaugural awards are due to the nominating committee by July 15, 2024.
